My weight loss success is an example to everyone that you can achieve your
fitness goals regardless of your current lifestyle. I did it! My son Andre’ was very persistent. I have been a member
for the past 2 years, and I have lost 50 lbs. I went from a size 16 to a 7/8.
I train 6 days a week and do cardio every time I workout. I also started
lifting weights with my son Andre’ to have a more toned look. I workout to look good and keep my heart healthy. By staying
in shape I can more fully enjoy a better life.
I would like to say thanks to Fitness World West -- they are the best. I
could not have done it if it were not for the incentive of the members and staff. I feel at home whenever I am at FWW. The
hospitality is overwhelming. As I always say to my friends, "Fitness World West is my second home." Actually,
that is how I really feel. I look forward to always being a member at the club.

I gained 10 pounds in the summer of 1999, would be 50 years old, and I felt
awful! My buttons would no longer "fit", and I was worn out and out of breath with almost everything that I did with any exertion.
I was in disbelief that I had become so unfit, and it was time for some serious life choices.
I needed to "get with it!" I started doing a daily bike ride, and I did
loose 3 pounds, but I was consequently having some lower back pain. Then I had an opportunity to join Fitness World West.
I had to make a decision–the cost of a new wardrobe OR join a fitness club and get in shape! My goal was to fit into
my clothes as well as to improve my overall fitness. I took advantage of a Microfit that Fitness World West provides, every
8 weeks for free.
It indeed showed the areas that needed improvement. FWW has excellent, knowledgeable
trainers who will take you step by step through an individual plan that is "you". They answer all questions professionally
and allow you to feel comfortable at your level. This was important to me since I was a beginner and very conscientious of
my shape and lack of ability. I’ve seen them working with many different people over the 3 years that I’ve
belonged to FWW, and I’ve always noticed this polite, friendly, and professional manner. I especially appreciate their
encouragement and support. In fact, many staff members have encouraging words though they may not have worked with you individually.
They see your face, remember you, and recognize your effort!
There are a variety of activities that offer something for everyone!
It amazes me! I have learned exercises that help me with the lower back problem and with the arthritis discomfort. My energy
level has increased, and my clothes fit now! The overall benefits have even surprised me! I’m glad that I didn’t
wait for New Year’s to make a fitness resolution! Joining Fitness World West has been one of my best health
decisions!
